| Industrial
Design I - 40 academic hours - 3 CREDITS |
In
this course students create and develop design-objects with the
use of the last technologies. This course introduces the objects
and their role in our everyday experience. Students are introduced
to the ideas of process, as one of the first principles of learning
how to understand development of ideas and forms. |
| Graphic
Design - 40 academic hours
- 3 CREDITS |
This
course is designed to offer the knowledge of desktop publishing,
vector graphic, lay-out design, the use of digital and classic media
and the professional presentation of digital projects. The student
will learn the use of software like Illustrator or Photoshop. |
| Material
theory and Manufacturing processes -
40 academic hours - 3 CREDITS |
This
application-oriented course covers the various product manufacturing
processes and parameters involved in designing parts primarily out
of plastics and metals. The course deals with industrial processes,
modern technologies of product and prototype development and the
theory of metals, plastics, glass, wood and also the technologies
that are related to those materials. |
| Drawing
Techniques - 40 academic hours - 3 CREDITS |
This
course is designed to offer knowledge and experience about the classic
drawing and and the modern sketching techniques. The student learns
the proportions of the human body, the expressions of color, the
importance of light and shadow, the use of colors and different
papers. |
| 3D
Graphic Design and 3D Animation -
40 academic hours - 3 CREDITS |
In
this course the student will learn to use powerful software like
3D Studio. The course is designed to offer knowledge about the modern
3D modeling techniques, 3D animation, material theory and photo-realistic
rendering. |
| CAD
/ Geometrical Drawing - 40 academic hours - 3
CREDITS |
This
is a course about geometrical drawing and technical representation.
Modern CAD systems are used to design the projects and to develop
ideas. |
| Art
History - 40 academic hours - 3 CREDITS |
This
course examines art and design from a variety of cultures and geographic
regions. It introduces students to the conventional designations
of stylistic periods, treats major works and artists in this span
of time and familiarizes the student with the traditional methods. |
| Italian
Language I - 40 academic hours - 3 CREDITS |
The
didactic method based on the inductive and deductive approach. There
are two aspects of the lessons, the grammatical part and the communication
of the Italian language. They are about themes of culture, of the
Italian history and sociality, or any other argument proposed by
the students. |
| Industrial
Design II - 40 academic hours
- 3 CREDITS |
In

and visual communication - 40

develop and advertise ideas and products. |

| Portfolio
Projects - 40 academic hours

A
professional portfolio is one of the most important things that
a young designer needs to start a successful career. In this course
the the student builds a professional portfolio adapted to his or
her professional objectives. The portfolio is part of the preparation
for the final examination. |
| Museum
visits / exhibitions 1 CREDIT |
It
is fundamental that students see with their eyes what masters in
the past have created. Teachers will organize guided museum and
exhibition visits. |

Work Shops 1 CREDIT |
Teachers
will arrange meetings with groups of students to organize workshops
where creative thinking and individual ideas will be focused. This
way to act is fundamental for students who want to increase the
skills. |
The
